HAVE A FRIEND HELP YOU. Wear socks like the ones you'll wear with your boots or shoes. Stand with your weight evenly distributed on both feet. Use a cloth measuring tape. Keep the tape snug but not tight. If you plan to tuck-in your pants you will want to measure around the pants you would normally wear. Also when making your tracings of your feet you will want to trace them while wearing the socks you would normally wear with the boots. The "Foot Measurements" format below is the ONLY format we use. Please do not send a scan or fax of your tracings as the fax and/or scan arrives distorted in size. You need only send the measurements via E-Mail. Please read the text, view the photos, use the diagrams and watch the video. These measurements will make your boots fit just right, loose, or tight. So be precise. Record in centimeters or inches.

BOOTS AND SHOES WILL BE MADE 1/8 to 1/4 INCH LARGER THAN YOUR ACTUAL MEASUREMENTS TO ALLOW FOR PROPER SIZING SO PLEASE MEASURE YOUR FOOT PROCISELY

Please put any extra notes about your order, such as the color of the item and/or type of sole you want, in the notes box above.

NOTE: Make sure you confirm these measurements. Your boots will be made to exactly the mesurements you specified above, and we cannot be held responsible if these measurements are notated incorrectly! Make sure to check:

  • Is the Unit of Measurement box set to inches or centimeters? Do your measurements match that setting?
  • Are your measurements given in numbers of inches or centimeters, not shoe sizes or some other measurement?
  • If you are giving fractions, are they clearly understandable? ("17.5" or "17 1/2" is OK, but "171/2" is not!)

By submitting this form, you agree that you have double-checked these measurements and understand that their accuracy is your responsibility.

Use these diagrams as a guide.

HOW TO MEASURE
Measuring the heel.

Measure each labeled part of your foot in this manner. ALSO MEASURE each foot drawing outline length from heel to tip of toe and the width at the widest point being the ball of the foot. (See Foot Diagram) Make sure pencil is perpendicular.

DO NOT PULL TAPE
Measuring the calf.

DRAWING FOOT OUTLINES
Hold pencil upright against foot. Exactly Perpendicular.

On a sheet of paper, have a friend draw around each foot with a sharp pencil. Label the outlines right or left. Make sure the outlines follow the contours of your foot closely. Measure the length of the drawing from the heel to tip of the toe and the width at the ball (the widest point...see foot diagram). Please fill out the form at the top of this page.
